Elder Team

Justin is a husband, father, pastor, and, most importantly, a follower of the Lord Jesus. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Whitefield Theological Seminary in Lakeland, FL, a Master of Theology from Union School of Theology in Bridgend, Wales (The Open University), a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, and a Master of Accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is the Principal of Expositors Institute and is privileged to serve on the board of directors of Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. Justin is passionate about seeing men trained and equipped in the local church for ministry unto the glory of the Triune God. He is Director of Savoring the Savior Books and is the author of several books, including: The Not So Loving Side of Gentle Parenting (2025), William Perkins on Pastoral Theology (2023), What is Faith? (2022), Unity with Rome? (2022), John Owen on Pastoral Preaching (2021), and Stop Worrying He Reigns (2018). 

Pastor Buddy accepted the call into Ministry in 2011 and was Ordained in 2012 at First Baptist Church Puxico. Currently Pastor Buddy serves as the Associate Pastor of FBC Puxico where he coordinates both, local and overseas missions as well as other Church ministries. Pastor Buddy has one son (Dylan) and one grandson (Carson).

Brandon Woolard is a sinner saved by God’s amazing grace. He and his wonderful wife, Ashley, along with their four children, live in Puxico, MO, and are active members of First Baptist Church of Puxico, where Brandon serves as an Associate Pastor. A lifelong resident of Southeast Missouri, Brandon’s prayer is to see his beloved region reform through the Doctrines of Grace and faithful verse-by-verse exposition of the Bible. Brandon’s passion is to see saints equipped and the Christian life lived out in the local church through healthy, active small groups for Christ’s glory. Brandon is a graduate of Anchored in Truth Ministries’ Pastoral Training Institute and has a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Reformed Baptist Seminary.
